I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at The Coach House. The location was peaceful and the house itself had a lot of character. The bedroom was spacious and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the comprehensive guide provided by the owners, which helped me explore both the local area and the wider county. Despite not having breakfast provided, I was able to book a delicious breakfast at a nearby inn as recommended by The Coach House. it was a great value for the price and I would consider returning in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at The Coach House. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The property is beautifully refurbished and the location surrounded by countryside is perfect. I also loved exploring the nearby town of Hexham, especially the abbey. I had a great experience and would happily stay here again.
One minor drawback was that breakfast was not included and I had to walk to a restaurant for food. However, I did have a good dinner at the recommended restaurant.

My recent stay at The Coach House was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside yet still close to town. The room itself was lovely and very clean, with tasteful decor and exquisite touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with high-quality bedding that made for a great night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed, with fluffy towels and luxurious toiletries. The owners were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free check-in process. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend staying at The Coach House.
Although there were so many great aspects to my stay, I did encounter a couple of minor inconveniences. there was no available storage space for luggage in the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

The character and style of the building, along with the comfortable furnishings and bed, made me feel right at home. Despite not having a view of the garden, the lovely countryside location added to the peaceful ambiance. The big bathroom was a real treat, with luxurious sheets and a spacious area. The property was well-maintained and clean, ensuring a pleasant stay.
While the lack of breakfast service or human contact with the owners was understandable given the current circumstances, it would have been nice to have at least seen someone during my stay. Additionally, I would have appreciated better lighting around the carpark and in the room for easier navigation, and having flavoured tea available would have been a small but appreciated touch.

The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a stunning view of the gardens. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us the best sleep we've had in ages. The surrounding grounds were worth exploring, and we were sad we couldn't stay longer. Although we had to leave early due to surgery, we will definitely be coming back to experience the cottage next time. Despite the slight issue of getting a taxi into town, we would still book again for a longer stay. Communication with James was excellent, and he even went above and beyond to help us retrieve some forgotten clothes. We felt relaxed and pampered throughout our stay, and overall I highly recommend this hotel.

One specific situation that happened during my stay was the remote check-in process. Although I didn't have direct contact with the hosts or anyone else during my stay, the pre-arrival communication was seamless, and everything was well-organized.

The picturesque location and breathtaking views really set the scene for a memorable getaway. The room was cozy and well-stocked with tea and coffee, and the bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable. Despite a few minor maintenance issues, such as the door knob dropping off, the overall experience was delightful. The peacefulness of the surroundings made for a truly relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed taking a walk around the estate, as recommended in the provided manual. The cleanliness and quality of the refurbished estate were exceptional. With easy check-in via a keypad and no time restrictions, we felt right at home. Plus, the price was very reasonable for such a lovely location and accommodation.
